Palm Lights FZE is a UAE-based artisanal candle and home fragrance manufacturer. Founded in 2016, registered in Ras Al Khaimah. Every product is handcrafted using RSPO-certified palm wax and WHO-GMP certified essential oils.

This report documents verified sustainability practices across five active initiatives. All figures for units and revenue are available for independent verification upon request.

Five initiatives.
All active.

These aren’t aspirations or pilot projects. Each of the following has been running as standard business practice — some since the brand’s founding year.

01

Circular Candle Vessel Refill Programme

Customers return empty candle jars for professional cleaning and refilling. Orders placed online or directly; vessels collected and returned to your door. A 25% discount applies to every refill order, making the sustainable choice the economical one too. Palm Lights accepts both its own vessels and third-party containers. A parallel refill system exists for borosilicate glass tealight holders and votive candles where readymade refills can be bought from the website at a 25% discounted price.

02

Plastic-Free Protective Packaging

Plastic bubble wrap and polyolefin were eliminated from all customer orders in 2019–2020. Replacements: honeycomb paper wrap (recyclable), natural raffia grass (biodegradable), and recycled cardboard tube boxes for pillar candles — the last of which won international recognition in 2023. No single-use plastic void-fill has been used since.

Zero plastic since 2020 All orders
03

Plantable Seed Paper & Recycled Paper Packaging

Tealight and votive ranges use plantable seed paper packaging — recycled pulp embedded with marigold seeds, designed to be planted directly in soil after opening. Thank-you cards are made from paper recycled from textile and fabric waste. The packaging is part of the product experience, not an afterthought.

In 2023, Palm Lights received the Arab StarPack Professional award in the Personal Care and Household category, organised by UNIDO and LibanPack. Best candles you can find in the UAE. I recently got my old candle jars refilled! Great initiative by Palm Lights.

It was easy to refill my old candles. They picked up the empty jars from my house, cleaned and refilled them. I love the Palo Santo scent — my candles arrived within a week.

I’ve been a regular client for the last 10 years and I can assure you these candles are the best natural ones in the market. Amazing quality and service.

Their natural and clean ingredients can be smelled before they are unpacked. For a person who can get agitated by smells, I find Palm Lights candles very soothing.
