why matchbox art?
After 25 years of living in the Emirates, I wanted to create something that’s been living in my head (and heart) forever — a mini art collection inspired by the everyday moments, inside jokes, and shared experiences that bind all of us who call the UAE home.
What began as a tiny spark of an idea grew into illustrations, colours, and characters — and finally into real matchboxes you can hold, gift, and keep as little snapshots of life in the Emirates.
